From setting up the chairs to the models walking, the fashion show was a success! The Great Hall at Immaculata University was transformed into a glamorous scene with a red carpet at the entrance.  Earlier in the day the clothing was being hung on the racks, models were getting hair done, and magazines along with goodie bags were laid on the chairs for the guests.  Delicious food was available as everyone enjoyed the music and entered a chance to win the raffles.  When the show started, the gorgeous models were dressed in the beautiful garments from the various boutiques and shops.  Cameras were flashing, and music was bumping! Main Line Fashion week has started! Last night was the start of Main Line Fashion week, kicking off with an Industry Panel discussion about the fashion industry. The panel included Ted Rossi, Sarah Bond, and Brynn Harbert to name a few. Besides the Industry Panel, some other Main line fashion week events that will be occurring through out the week will be a fashion show on October 1st from 6-9pm and a Marketplace shop event on Oct. 3rd from 6-9pm. Professionals from the fashion industry and various businesses are coming in to the industry panel event.  Ted Rossi’s company is know recognized by celebrities and specializes in leather accessories.  Sarah Bond is the CEO of Main Line Parent, which provides information for families about school, health, parenting, and events.  Styled Creative was created by Beka Rendell, and it provides crafting, set design, and creative direction.  Brynn Harbert has an eye for putting outfits together and shares her style ideas on her blog Brynn There Wore That.  Sage Ladnier has years of buying and marketing experience and is the Creative Marketing and Sales Director of Ladnier Groups. Phashion Phest

Philly Fashion week is in full bloom, starting with Phashion Phest’s 20th Anniversary event. On September 17th a couple Immaculata students attended the event at the shops in Liberty Place, volunteering for Sharon Waxman the CEO of SPW Productions, LLC. The type of work that was involved for the show was setting up chairs, moving tables, seating guests, dressing models, and handling gift bags.   Paris is the place to be at the moment, especially if you are a fan of Tory Burch. Yes! The American designer is expanding her empire to Europe, specifically Paris. Tory Burch was in Paris on Thursday March 27th to get her newest project ready for its April 1st opening, in the Galleries Lafayette. The 300-square-foot shop-in-shop at the landmark department, there has also been construction on a 4,000 square-foot Paris flagship seven- story building 412 Rue Saint-Honore which is on the course to open in early 2015.   With this European venture, Tory Burch has said that she hopes that Europe makes up 20 percent of her business and is in the process of scouting for boutique locations in Milan, Zurich, Frankfurt  and Cannes, France.
