Fashion Group: Philadelphia Trip

This past weekend, the Immaculata University Fashion Group took an educational trip to the city of Philadelphia. The trip consisted of the Fashion Group taking the local train down to suburban station and walking the wonderful city streets that were filled with pleasure and style.  Most members of the group never got a chance to travel our local city fashions and this was the perfect time to do so.   The first thing that was on our list of things to do was to visit the infamous “LOVE Park”, located in the JFK plaza.  Even though the park was being renovated for the Christmas Holiday for the celebrated Christmas Village, we were still able to sneak past the workers and get a group picture in front of the “LOVE’ sign. On November 19th the Fashion group at Immaculata University held a pre-holiday event to get the students in the “holiday-spirit” before the schools’ holiday break. The event consisted of the students in the fashion group doing a Secret Santa, where each student put their name on a sheet of paper with 3 items for their Secret Santa to choose from. The event also included decorating Christmas ornaments with colored paint, glitter, stickers, and other crafts for the students to get creative.
